 Nik

First off, Nik is my nickname.  Most people wouldn't even understand the complexity of my full length name, so I won't bore you with explaining it.  And even though I'm originally from Billings Montana, I dream about living in a city the size of Gotham City or anywhere I can walk to everything I need, especially "hole in the wall" live music.

After growing up on an Air Force Base, I use to dream about being a fighter pilot.  I would ride my bike near the runway, sit down and watch jets do flybys for an hour at a time.  I even pursued the  air-force later in life about 10 years, but I was told that having ADHD maybe I should be a soldier  instead.   Well, I never became a soldier.

Currently pursuing a few hobbies while maintaining the band is one way I hope to progress our band in this very unforgiving market.  For years, people have told me to do voice over projects for them.  So here and there I have done bits and pieces.

For the past 5 years I have been playing drums.  While being in and out of bands and searching  for similar taste, chemistry, and talent, it has been more than difficult to get the right people together for this new band.  Fortunately dedication to the dream and passion for music has paid off in the short run.

I've found that my style of drumming comes from not just well know drummers, but more so influential bands themselves.  I'm definitely easy-going when it comes to writing songs.  FEELING more of what the guitars and vocals are doing before I'm comfortable deciding on a pattern or rhythm.  Stewart Copeland, George Pendergast, Brian Ireland, and Shannon Leto are among many a influences.
